1. Grab a copy of the 2005 AAA NY State TourBook. Hurry - they'll be replaced by the 2006 edition by the end of April!

2. Stand where the photographer likely stood to take the cover photo.

3. Turn to the right, walk straight and across, and then go up 29 (or so). Stop at the second landing and head left along the path. When it veers right, continue straight along the wooden fence line. When the fence ends, continue downhill towards a low brick wall on the right. Follow it to a dirt path where a new fence line begins (don't be tempted to go downhill to the left).

4. Follow this dirt path, passing over gravel at the big green box. (Keep an eye out for the wandering peacock I saw here the day I planted: I'm serious, and no, I have no idea what it was doing there, either.) The dirt path narrows. Keep the sound of water to your left. Duck if you need to. (I didn't.) The path curves to the right, going slightly uphill. As you curve with it, look for twins - fraternal, not identical - at about 200 degrees. Your tour ends behind them.

This is a well-traveled area so watch for looky-loos around you as you retrieve the box and stamp in. When you're done, please reseal all bags with care, close the box lid securely and cover the box with appropriately strewn woodland material (no sticks lined up neatly in a row, please) when you rehide it. Thank you!
