DIRECTIONS TO INDIAN MEADOWS PARK:
From NY State Thruway, get off at exit 25 and continue on I-890 West. Get off at exit 7 (Route 7 East). Continue to Balltown Rd. and make a left (going North). At Glenridge Rd. make a left and stay on this road until it dead ends at Swaggertown Rd. Take a right, then bear right onto Droms Rd. where the road splits. The Park is on the right side of the road (155 Droms Rd.).

Indian Meadows is a 186 acre Park in the town of Glenville, NY.

CLUES:
As you enter the park you will come to a sign that reads Baseball (to the left) and Soccer, Football, Softball (straight ahead). Continue on to the soccer fields, driving until you can go no further (by a small concession building). [You can also park by the playground and take the trail behind the park building until you reach the gravel road].

Park and walk up the gravel road until you come to a signpost on the left. One of the arrows points to a trail and reads Wetlands. Go about 100 paces in and you’ll come to where the trail turns left. It will “s” curve and come to a nice creek. Continue on trail and you’ll come to the creek again. Continue on trail until you come to a split: trail to left and trail straight ahead; creek to right. (You can see a large wooden bridge over the creek about 20 paces further.)

At this point, with back to creek, look for the remnants of an old rock wall (in the trees). Walk along this rock wall (keeping wall on your right) for about 50 paces. With back to rock wall, walk forward about 8 paces to a leaning hemlock tree whose roots are exposed and have grown over a very large rock. Look for a white rock under the extended roots. Remove rock to find the box.

Please replace the box so that it is well hidden. Thanks.
