Follow your instincts (or Google), to the Sandy Point Discovery Center. The Discovery Center is open in season Wed-Sun 10-4, but the grounds and trails are open year round. This is a very kid friendly ½ mile walk. Sorry no pets. Bring bug spray and your animal track guide or download this one:

Clues:
From the flagpole, don’t descend to the water quite yet, instead stay on the path past the welcoming heron, and descend the stairs down to the Gundalow.
Keeping her stern to your back, strike out on your course.
The right path is the right path.
Keep your eyes peeled for the deer tracks at the beginning of the boardwalk. If you look carefully, you will find all sorts of creatures’ tracks as you pursue your goal.
Turn left at the Woodland Trail to visit the People of the Dawn and admire their woodland homes.
After your visit, return to the boardwalk, and follow the rabbit tracks until you pick up the trail of a raccoon by the saltmarsh.
Continue past the steely-eyed heron.
Your quest is getting closer, but beware of the invading Phragmites!
At the next juncture, left is your worthy choice.
Your elusive prey is close at hand. Watch for a nest on your right, and back up three steps.
What you seek is below the Oaken V.
Enjoy your find, but please be very discreet in your activities as this is a public spot. As always, please rehide well.
