This letterbox was given to my nephew for his tenth birthday. Please take a moment to read the small but sincere tribute written about his father who died in January of 2002. It is pasted to the inside bottom of the box.
You will need a logbook, stamp, and inkpad. If you don't have any of these, a pen will do to sign in.
Begin your search at the William Henry Harrison Park in Pembeville, Ohio. It is located on the south side of town on Bierly Ave.
Find the "Meadows Trail". There are two signs posted to mark this trail, you need to begin at the sign closest to the main entrance of the park.
Walk through the pine trees to a clearing and find a lone pine tree just off the path to your right. From this tree count 25 paces(2 steps = 1 pace) to an apple tree on your right.
To be sure you have the right tree, looking out to the clearing you will see a birdhouse on the right and the left of the tree. Behind you up above may be the American flag. What you seek is waiting in the trunk of the tree. Up ahead on the path is a bench if you would like to sit and stamp. Please be stealth for this can be a busy park. Most importantly, respect the suroundings as you search. Happy Hunting!

**update** The parks division has cleared brush and trees that used to give a little privacy when this was originally planted. I hope to relocate this box to a more secluded area. Until then please try to be stealth when finding and re-hiding this letterbox. Thank You :)
