The Milton on the Mud letterbox/cache hybrid is located at the public stream access to the Mud River between Ona and Milton, WV.
West Virginia is a great state for water sport, especially fishing. However, most of the property along our streams is private thereby limiting the access to the stream. To facilitate the use of water resources, the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources has established several Public Stream Access points. This cache is located at a public stream access just east of Ona and west of Milton along US Rt. 60. Plenty of parking is available at the fishing area. To keep with the stream theme, the container is a floating container used by boaters. The container contains only a stamp and a small logbook. There is no pencil or room for one. Sign or stamp the logbook and consider visiting some of our caches in the eastern part of Cabell County.

This cache is on public property near Rt. 60. Parking is off Rt. 60 on a public gravel road to a stream access. Park at the fishing area and walk up the drain toward the intersection of Electric Road and Rt. 60. The container is under a rock at the base of the last box elder tree to your right as you walk up the hill.
