New signage has just been added to this park indicating that no dogs are allowed.
From parking lot go to the far baseball diamond. There is an old concrete bridge there. Take bridge and go to the left down an unblazed trail. On the right will be the pond and a very old broken down rusted fence. Very shortly the unblazed trail will appear to split right after you pass a four foot tall stump on the right of the trail. The stump is right next to the pond. One path heading up and the other continuing to head around the pond. From the split point go up hill to a dead tree, it’s 17 paces. At base of tree, in a crevice, under some rocks is what you seek. You may want to use a stick.
