CONFIRMED MISSING. We'll update the clue if we decide to replant.

Terrain: mostly level
Distance: 1 mile
Park hours: sunrise to 9:00 p.m.

This letterbox is located in a nature preserve, which shares the name of the Stigler family who farmed in the area for over 100 years.

Follow the path into the preserve, continuing through all intersections. Soon you will see a rocky landscape littered with fallen trees. Fungi flourish. Did you see the tree with a large burl in the trunk, about five feet off the ground? Farther along, you’ll see a tall stump standing on the other side of a grassy clearing. Follow the line of pines. From the last pine, 112 steps will take you to another tall stump with many fungi shelves. At a bearing of 208°, with its namesake in sight, you’ll find the letterbox tucked into the middle of a log.

Please stamp in discreetly and carefully replace the letterbox hidden from view. A rock prevents the box from being pushed too far along the log. Please contact us if the box needs maintenance, etc.
