Great place for fishing, family, pets, and many other activities! It can be a long drive, but I suggest making a day of it by bringing a picnic and having some fun!

Turn at Sedalia SH67 to Deckers
Follow this on a nice leisure drive until you come to the Y intersection. Here you want to stay right on Pine Creek Rd. Turn right on Platte River Rd. Follow this dirt road to the Colorado Trail Parking area (South Platte River Trailhead).
Cross over the bridge and follow the path to your right which will loop around and take you back under the bridge. You will come to the Colorado trail marker post. 100 degrees and 22 pace you will find a lone cedar tree. At the bottom you will fine what you seek. Happy Hunting.
