My Favorite Aunt LbNA #21110

Whenever there's a family picnic, my favorite aunt almost always shows up.She's just a little bit of a thing with stick-like legs and dark, shiny eyes. Since she grew up in a sod house with lots of brothers and sisters, she’s most comfortable when surrounded by lots of her cronies. When she
comes to one of our get togethers, she's always very friendly, and tries to visit with every person who's there.

She also just loves to eat and is always game to try anything new. If there's something on your plate that looks appealing she'll usually give it a taste whether you've offered it or not. Fortunately, she doesn't really eat much.

When we had a picnic at Cline Falls State Park, my aunt and I took a stroll downstream after lunch looking for a place to hide the letterbox I had made in her honor. We left the asphalt path for a dirt trail us soon as we could and headed for the earthen wall.

Skirting 'round the wall, we came to a massive column. Thirty steps farther we found a boulder to the left of the path, a brother at its back with a prodigious piercing. I chose a little hidey hole at the brother's feet, facing the river, as the home for My Favorite Aunt's letterbox.
