Difficulty: Easy
Hand carved: Yes
Hitchhiker Friendly: Yes
Rail Trail Series: #1 Tree Frog
Go to Cheney Washington and take highway 904 into town.
Take a left on Cheney Spangle road and drive one mile to the Columbia Plateau Trail parking lot (on the left).
Head down the ramp and take the southern trail that is easy on the feet.
Walk about a quarter mile until you see a double tree up and to your left.
Walk 15 paces past the tree and look for a blue rock to your left.
The box is hidden under the big rock directly below the blue rock.
The rocks are a bit sharp so be careful or bring some gardening gloves along.
