Attention - all of the shrubs have been removed and the box with it as of June 25th. Check back in Aug and see if I have hidden another. Sorry.
As you enter the park, bear right at the sign "to monuments". Have a seat with Elaine Rutledge. From Elaine's bench, facing the Delaware River and Philadelphia International Airport, move one cheek to the left of the bench's center. Reach in at the hedge's bottom -there lies your treasure. No ink pad.
What park? Readbak National Battlefield.
From 295 going North, take the exit#21-22 toward National Park. Turn left onto Delaware Street.5 mile . Go past WaWwa on the left. then right onto Grove which becomes S. Grove for 1.2 miles. Right on Hessian Ave. Route 642 directly into park. From 295 S, take exit for National Park-Red Bank ave. Take Red Bank Avenue Route 644 into town of National Park. Turn left onto Hessian Ave. Continue directly into park. From 130 S taake exit for Route 642 National Park. Follow it to Hessian Ave Rt. 644. Left onto Hessian and straight into park.
