This box has been moved to another location.
Ryerson Woods is a Conservation area near Deerfield, Illinois. It is a 552 acre preserve, originally the home of Edward Ryerson, of Ryerson Steel. It is also where the Skokie Valley Astronomers meet to stargaze. The address on Riverwoods Road, one and one-half miles south of Half Day Road (Route 22) and two miles north of Deerfield Road, just west of the I-94 Tollway.
Park in the lot near the nature center and find the trail near the “facilities.” It’s the south trail. You immediately go over a boardwalk. Wander along until you come to the T in the trail. Go to the left and walk along with the field where the star gazers might gaze on your left. You’ll walk along a path on which you will soon realize you couldn’t take a “cab in.” Go in the direction of that clue word and look around the structure. There will be a thing where you can’t pump water anymore, but go investigate it regardless. Follow the long horizontal piece of dead wood until you are stumped by an upright 25 foot piece of dead wood. To find the treasure get down on all fours and “bark” (or at least look for some.)

This stamp will look a lot nicer if you use color and outline some. She’s not been eating right lately! Probably out trying to catch too many stars! Make sure no one is watching. Carefully replace it and go on your way.

Be aware there are several other LBs in Ryerson you might want to find.
