This is my first Letterbox in the Knoxville area. It was pattrned to the theme of my Grandson's favorite cartoon caracters Ed Edd N Eddy. This area looks like an area that the Ed's would have loved. They love strange sites, old dumps, abandoned houses and so on. The Ed's were always running some sort of a hoax to get money fron there friends. This is a site where they could have done that very thing. They would have made up some sort of story, like this once being a Roman Coliseum and would have charged for admission. If you get the chance check out the cartoon. I rather like it myself.
From Chattanooga or Nashville on 75/40 take exit #373 Farragut. At end of exit go right to Kingston Pike 1.5 miles. Turn left go .5 miles to Concord make a right. Go 1.8 miles to Northshore turn left. Go .2 miles and turn left into Rocky Point Park. In the park go to second picnic area with one table on the left. Take a bearing of 270 and go 162 paces. Take a bearing of 243 and go 52 paces. Take a bearing of 310 and go 9 paces. Where wood rock and dirt meet.
