I am changing the clues just a bit. The trees have been trimmed and are a bit different. It is amazing how long this has been in place! Yeah!! 3/2016
Glenview has a second train depot since “The Glen” has been added to our town. It is located east of Gallery Park on Lehigh. There are also some nice shops and restaurants nearby you may like to check out. Egg Harbor is a great place for dining.
At “Gallery Park” there is an outdoor walking trail also. It can be enjoyed year round, but the winds blow across the lake so dress appropriately. This letterbox adventure is an easy one. We have it in Glenview all the way from "Hawkeye" from Georgia! Thanks, Hawkeye! We'll take good care of it. Patriot Boulevard, West Lake Avenue, and Chestnut Avenue border the park. The east side of the park is almost at Lehigh.
Enter the furthest east of the parking areas off W. Lake Avenue to find “These boots are made for walkin’,” and make your boots walk. Find the eastern asphalt path and head south. Walk in those boots right past four by the side: one to throw in, two to sit on, three to read by, and four to talk to. Keep on walkin’ until you come to the next “read by.” Look east to see a green tree with skirts but they no longer go all the way to the ground. They have given the tree a short skirt. So look behind the tree under a SPOPC (pine cones and twigs). There you will find what you’re walkin’ for. You can stand and face the second "read by" and look just to the right. You'll see the green tree.
Be careful as you log this one. There will be many people using their boots just as you are. Carefully replace it and go on your way.
Be aware there are four other LBs you might want to find nearby called Prairie Bugs.
