Oscar M. had a flat tire and a really bad day, so went to Lake Cassidy to relax instead of peddling hot dogs. We, too, recommend Lake Cassidy for relaxing.

Access Lake Cassidy via the Centennial Trail. You could be coming down the Centennial trail from either direction, so we will start the clues at Lake Cassidy itself. The lake can be found between Lake Stevens (the city) to the south and Marysville to the north. The Centennial Trail is along the old SL&E railway grade and is flat and paved, good for dogs, kids, horses, rollerblades, joggers, bikers, and rollerskaters. The longer you want to be on the trail, the farther from Lake Cassidy you should park.

This letterbox is wheelchair accessible except the last few yards.

Here is a link to a map of this section of the Centennial Trail: http://www.co.snohomish.wa.us/documents/Departments/Parks/maps/centennial2.jpg

CLUES:
Start on Lake Cassidy, where the radio tower is to the WSW of you and the dock is to the ENE of you(approximately). Take 111 paces in the direction most people would go.
You should have just stepped onto public land.
Go 50 paces more, where you pass some H.P.s on your right and P.T.s on your left, and go up a steep incline.
Turn left a number of times equal to the number of directions that you see wood if you stand in the kiosk.(clue: there are six basic directions)
Go forward to sign 11.
From this point, you may barely be able to see sign of a horse. Go to him.
Face the way the arrow points, then look right and down the path for a large stump, about 20 Smurfs tall. Once you get there, you'll notice fungus on the top, and that the center has rotted away. Around back, inside, down low, you'll find the Oscar's Bad Day Letterbox.

This was my first attempt at carving and clueing, so please be gentle.
