My friend [1st trail name J.A.P., NOW KNOWN AS- Beachbum] and I [Seekher] recently became addicted to letterboxing. We thought it would be fun to create and dedicate a stamp remembering when we first met. In 1997 we were both taking sign language classes up at Onondaga Community College. Since then we have worked together, taken vacations together and have become closer friends. After creating the stamp we thought it only fitting to hide it up at O.C.C. If your ever interested in learning sign language, O.C.C. offers some pretty good classes.

Have fun and enjoy the nice trails around the campus.
PS- The box top unscrews! Also, please re-hide well. Thank you.

Directions to O.C.C.:
From the city of Syracuse: Take East Seneca Turnpike up the hill towards OCC. At the light, take a right on route 173. Follow along until you see the enterance on your left.
[Coming from Fairmount/Camillus area on Route 173 the enterance will be on your right.]

Clues: Enter O.C.C., follow the road around to the right, then you will pass on your right an entrance to the Coyne Bldg. Don't turn, keep going straight until you come to your first parking lot on your right. Park there, it's across from the Ferrante Hall. Start your search at the Call Box at the entrance of this parking lot. From the Call box, look up to the tree line/away from the bldg. There's a walking path that goes between the tree line and the road you drove in on. Follow the path to your right. Keep walking until you see a bench on your right. It is a bench in memory of James Doherty. Keep going to the next bench you will see on your left. You'll see a sign next to it about Forest. After enjoying the information on forest, walk behind the sign and into the woods. Walk over some rocks and toward the stream. Walk to your left along the stream. Look for a medium sized fallen tree. Keep going straight/in the same direction and look for a large stump. Standing facing the stump with your back to the area where you had walked into the woods. Look past the stump for half of a tree that is still standing. It looks like it's half dead. Below that poor tree is what you seek. Be mindful that walkers on the path can see you from the trail when the trees don't have their foliage. Please Rehide it well.
