****SORRY THIS BOX HAS BEEN REMOVED**** WORKING ON REPLACING IT!*** HAPPY BOXING!!

NEW BEGINNINGS

Level of Diffulty: Easy
Length of time: 20 minutes

This park is very busy so be discreet.

You are only allowed in the park during day light. No night trips for this box!

The New Beginnings box is located in Patriots' Park. Partriots' Park does not have its own parking - we suggest parking on College Ave or North Washington. Parking is free but be careful of the parking signs!

Go up the street from the intersection College and North Washington (heading toward Broadway/Rt. 9). You will see the entrance to the park half way up College Ave on the right. Follow the black top path to the left. Around the curve you will pass stairs on your left leading to a small building. Continue on the path. Go down the second set of stairs on your right. At the bottom is a stone patio area alongside a stream. This is a pretty spot in the spring and summer and is actually the exact spot that Mr. Comforter proposed to Mrs. Comforter on bended knee one special Memorial Day! Continue across the patio and up the stairs.

At the top of the stairs, turn right and cross over the stone bridge. Directly off the stone path is a tree with a stone plaque in memory of Arceola King. From facing the plaque go left to the lamp post. Follow the black top path towards the bridge. Just before the bridge go down the first set of stairs.

Take a break at the green bench and notice the plaque for 9/11/01. Depending on the season find the best route across the stream in front of you. Once across the stream follow the high wall around toward the street. At the end is a short wall divided in two by the water. In the south side of the small wall is where the New Beginnings box is hidden.

Helpful hints: Roots marks the spot. Your treasure is in a hole behind some loose rocks.

We hope you enjoyed the adventure.
