These letterboxes have been lost & will be replaced again winter December 21,2007

Take Sagitkos-Sunken Meadow Parkway north
to exit SM-4 east make a right off the ramp
follow road east. You will find yourself in
Kings Park along Main Street which is 25A. Make
a left @ Old Dock Road then a right on to
St. Johnland Road. You will see the sign to
Nissequogue River State Park. Make a left into
the Park & go to the Administration Building &
park.
Look for sign LI Greenbelt Trail Conference.
Follow the white markers on the trail.

THIS BOX IS LOST AS OF 4-20-06

You will come to the remains (on the right) of
an old foundation. Go to the furthest side wall
and about 1/4 of the way along the foundation you
will see a crack with some loose bricks. Check
them out to find the New Year's Eve Party.

THIS BOX WAS FOUND IN THE TRASH CAN CLOSE BY 4-2-06

Continue along the path, past another foundation,
down the stairs following the white blazes. Go past
the broken wooden fence on the left continue to
follow the white markers towards the right up
the hill. Have a seat on the bench looking at the
Nissequogue River (which flows North as the Nile,
Egpyt; the only two north flowing rivers in the
world). Continue on the path past the two Cedar
trees on the left. You soon will see a circle of
three trees. In the middle under the stones you
will fine the Super Bowl Party.

THIS BOX WAS OUT ON THE GRASS 4-20-06

Turn around and start to retrace your steps going
to the broken fence that you past. At the fence
make a right into the old KPPC Hospital grounds.
Turn left and walk behind the buildings along the
dirt driveway onto the broken pavement. Continue
along the pavement until you will come to a
large building with murals painted on the windows.
There will be a large old tree on the grass.
Look at the base of the tree for the St. Patrick's
Day Party.

Now look past the building down the slops and you
will see the parking lot & your car. Stop in the
Administration Building for rest rooms & other
information and displays.
