At Waverly Park, find the first area for horse and horsepower to park. Tie up your hoss and head across the wooden bridge there, taking the path to the right into the woods. Follow the 2.6 loop (left). The creek will be on your right. Cross two more wooden bridges. At the T, where the loop you didn't take joins back up again, heading straight. You'll go over a hump with a culvert to your left. After a short distance, the path curves L. 3 Paces (a pace = 2 steps) off the path to the right is a large two stump tree. Around these parts, they used to call him Trio, but after a recent wind in your hair moment, he's now a duo. Dude's Footwear is hanging out there, in the stump, about level or slightly lower. If you come to a very large tree with a dead stump next to it, you've gone too far and need to backtrack 4-5 paces. Please make sure to cover well so that it looks natural to the passing bike riders and occasional walker.
