Gatlinburg
Just outside of Gatlinburg, pass #10 on Hwy 441.

You can either park at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park sign and follow the trail towards the left or pass the parking area at the sign, and just pass the truck turn around area is an area along the road to park.

This parking area is graveled; the river will be on your right side.

Find the Nature Trail which is down from the road and continue west.

You’ll see a metal and wood walking bridge going over the river.
(This can be seen from the road)

There are big rocks at both ends of the bridge.

Once you cross the bridge look for a very small dirt trail on your right.

Follow the trail up just a few yards and you’ll see a Large Flat Boulder.

The letterbox is on the West side of the boulder hidden by small rocks.

Please put the small rocks back over the box. If it is seen it will be picked up as trash.

Please rehide well and be discreet this is a high traffic area especially during the summer.
Thanks

This and 3 other letterboxes were planted by the "Low-Country Wanderers" during our New Years Retreat.
Have Fun!
