When Wilma hit SouthWest Florida on 10-24-05 she was packing a powerful kick. Heavy rain and wind, trees and roofs down the storm was very thick. She stomped and she walloped down every street, but she left the sandals from her feet.
To find her sandals here in Naples we will give you directions from the north.
Heading south on US 41/Tamiami Trail, you must be south of Pine Ridge Rd. After Pine Ridge Rd you will drive until the 6th traffic light and turn right at it.Make your next right and then a left into a large parking lot just after the churches parking area but before Ketch Dr.Park your vehicle and look to the west at the center of the two story condo.
Just right of the condo under some pine trees use the digging shell in the slot on the left of the rocks to uncover the sandals buried in the sand between the middle of some rocks.
Please be discrete as this area can be busy sometimes, please replace shell and bag and bury as best as possible.
Owner lives close enough to place more sand on sandals if informed when needed.
Happy Letterboxing
