~Directions:
Park in the dirt pull-off on River Rd. for the Peace Sanctuary.
Clues:
Go up the paved drive and very quickly take the first trail on your left. Follow to a fork and bear left. Soon you will see a wooden fence at an overlook. Take a moment to enjoy the view and look for the small lighthouse across the water at Mystic Seaport. Continue on the trail. The trail will round to the right with a house on your left. Continue right to a "T" intersection. At the "T" go right, downhill, 9 steps to a notched log. Stand on the notch and look left between two skinny trees growing close together. You will see a small cave. The box is in the cave behind one rock.

To get back to your car, continue downhill until you come to a paved drive. Turn right and soon you will be at River Rd. Turn right again and you will come to your vehicle.
