Taken from the NYS DEC website (http://www.dec.state.ny.us/website/dfwmr/wma/wmalist.htm#onon)

Hamlin Marsh. 1,473 acres, wetland, hiking trails, parking lot, birdwatching, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing and trapping. This WMA is located in the Town of Clay northwest of North Syracuse. The area is easily reachable from NYS Route 481 via Henry Clay Blvd., from Route 11 via Bear Road; and from Wetzel Road for the west and southwest portions of the area.

This box has no ink, please bring your own. From Rt. 81 Northbound or Southbound, take the 7th North St. exit. (exit 25). Turn right onto 7th North street. Continue until you come to Electronics Parkway. Turn right onto Electronics Parkway (it eventually becomes Henry Clay Blvd). Hamlin Marsh is on the right, past the Wetzel Road and Waterhouse intersections. The marsh parking lot will be on the right with a brown state sign. Pull in and park.

From the parking lot, you will see two brown signs with a path to their left. Follow the path until it veers to the right towards the marsh. From the path, facing the marsh, to your right, off the path, is a large multi-branched tree. The letterbox is hidden here. Please rehide carefully and cover with lots of ground debris.

This stamp was taken from a design by a blacksmith in Georgia, Alan Rogers (image used with artist's permission). Check out his work - it is stunning! www.alanrogersironworks.com
