*** New hiding spot 5/19/07 - to keep people off the closed trail ***

This is our first planted letterbox, planted by Front Range Hiker and Rambling Rose on a sunny, warm January day.

Make your way to 6.666.88.66.8 333.2.555.222.666.66 7.2.777.55 in Jefferson County. There are two entrances, but the western one has the shorter distance to the letterbox (about a 40 minute hike each way).

In the park, find 8.9.666 3.666.4.7777 8.777.2.444.555 and hike all the way to the end of the trail. Sit on the wood bench near the “end” sign, facing the view. Look to your left to see two cuddling red rocks, about 8 feet away. Behind the spot where they cuddle, you'll find the Guard Dog letterbox.

Note: box contains pen and ink pad. Please let me know if the box needs attention.
