Status of Microbox: Reported missing again, and probably gone - 12/28/08
The "Horned Frogs #2" mini-box is part of my Texas College Mascot Series, and honors TCU which is very near. The box is located in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden - Japanese Garden. There is a fee to enter this section, but 2 boxes are available, and it is beautiful.
Directions:
From I-30, exit on University Drive and go north, Turn left into the park (at first entrance) and go to end of road (at circle). Park here if spot, or at the Japanese Garden area and park.
To the Mini-box:
Walk over to the circle at end of the road. Now climb up steps and go through columned pavillian. On other side, go down the right stairs. Turn left and go down the 18 tiered staris (you should now be near a pool on your left). Turn right on cement path. Go through gate, and stay on the path, passing a "rock Whirlpool" with no water. TO the left is another path, go approx. 9 steps and you will see a HUGE tree with a cave-like apperarance in it. You will find the box at the base outside this tree.
