Note:
The Get Ready to Quilt series is located on all 3 floors of the museum. In order to get them all there is a $7 charge, because the only way to get through the whole museum is to take the tour. Hours are Fri, Sat, Sun, 1-4 or by appointment.

Note #2
The Grandstand letterbox is also located in this museum, and across the street is the Thread City Mills letterbox. So you can do 7 letterboxes in just these 2 locations.

Directions from Norwich area:
Take Rt 32 into Willimantic. Take a right onto and over the "Frog Bridge". At the light at the other end of the bridge take a right. The Windham Textile and History Museum is located on the left directly across from the Windham Mills buildings.

Directions from Lebanon area.:
Travel on rt 289 towards Willimantic. At your first stop sign take a right onto Pleasent St. At the light take a left onto and over the "Frog Bridge". At the other end of the bridge take a right. The Windham Textile and History Museum is located on the left directly across from the Windham Mills buildings.

Clues:
When you walk into the front door you will bei n the gift shop(don't forget to sign in the guest book). Enter the next room and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs swing a right and you will be entering the main Exhibit area(the tour guide knows where these boxes are so she will make sure you have time to look for them). Enter the room with the Green decor. Walk to the far right corner where the fire place is. Take a peak behind it and you will find box #1 Needle

Exit back to the main exhibit room. While on the tour going from room to room look for the OLD black wood cooking stove. Behind you will find box #2 Thread.

Again back to the main exhibit room to look for the LARGE circled 3. Go down the hall next to the 3 and up the steep set of stairs and into the library. Walk just past the Glass cases and take a reading of 25*. Talk from here to the "Sole Makers". from the left count 4 right and 2 down to find Box #3 Scissors

When you have finished the tour and come back down both sets of stairs you will be in a LARGE exhibit room. Take a look to your right and consider tickeling the ivories. The first half of your final quilt pattern is on top. Box #4

From that spot turn 380* and walk about 6 paces to look at the MODERN EXHIBIT. Under the table hiding out with the kids toys you will find box #5 and the log book.
