February 12, 2007: I removed the letterbox until I can find a new spot to hide it. The tea roses have been moved and the ice plant no longer clings to the base of the tree. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

August 2007 - The box has a new home in New Hampshire!

The Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden contains over 2,400 rose bushes in 180 varieties. The garden is in peak bloom during April and May although many roses bloom from March to December in San Diego's mild climate.

Park on Park in the Park.
Find the foot bridge that is near the Fleet Space Theater.
Cross over heading East.
Turn right, towards the rose garden.
Find the roses in section C-5 (the All American Award winners).
Turn around and find the tea roses in the fenced in area.
Behind the tea roses are a line of olive trees.
The second tree from the left has ice plant growing around its trunk. Carefully reach into the "hole" that has naturally formed behind the tree in the ice plant. I have recently placed a rock to help camouflage the spot. Once you have stamped the book, seal the bags tightly, and replace as found, hidden well under the ice plant and covered by the rock.

*11/13/2006 Stamp the backs of older blank pages in the log book if it becomes full. I am out of town and cannot replace the book for a while. Thanks.
