Definitely missing. ahhhh..

The idea, concept, stamp, logbook and creative force behind this box is Barefoot Lucy.
Dewberry helped with the hiding and is responsible for maintenance.

Background:
Texas letterboxers owe a great debt to Silver Eagle. One of the pioneers of the sport, he planted great boxes all over the Lone Star State, illuminating the path for future finders. He also has taken the time to nurture new boxers, offering unfailing encouragement and enthusiasm. He has shown us the way, guided us to the force and in general been "the Yoda" of Texas letterboxing (as Barefoot Lucy likes to say). So, in his honor, we offer this box, planted in his hometown, with thanks from all Texas Letterboxers.

Directions:
This box is hidden at Lost Creek Park in Sugar Land. From 59, exit Williams Trace Blvd. Go South, and turn left on Lexington, then right on Settlers Way. Finally, turn left on Lost Creek Blvd., which will take you directly into the park. Go left and park along the soccer fields.

Clues:
From the parking area, head north along the sidewalk past the soccerfields on your right. As you descend the slight hill, go to the right past an emergency call box. Continue along this trail (a loop) for about .5 mile until you get to the second emergency call box. From there, go back 10 steps and look to your right. You should see a large tree with a split off branch. This letterbox is wedged into the split in the back of the tree.

Watch for poison ivy and snakes. Take all the usual precautions when letterboxing. This trail can be busy with cyclists and walkers, so you may need to exercise some sneakiness in retrieving the box. But, most importantly, please take the time to replace carefully so that it'll last for future finders. You'll be nurturing the next generation of letterboxers! Thanks!

You may continue along this loop to get back to the main park. You should be able to see where your car is parked (across the soccer fields).
