This box is part of the Texas Festival Box Exchange...carving credits go to missmoon.

Before you look for this box you'll need to answer a few mosquito trivia questions. Ready?
1. The _ _ _ _ _ _ mosquito is the bloodsucker in the family. (3rd letter)
2. The active ingredient in many mosquito repellants is
_ _ _ _ ( 2nd letter)
3. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ is a Spanish word meaning "little fly"
(1st letter)
4. A popular brand of mosquito repellant _ _ _ (1st letter)
5. This disease is spread by mosquitos in many parts of the world _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (5th letter)
6. Mosquitos are classified as _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (1st letter)
7. Nocturnal flying mammals helpful in controlling mosquito populations _ _ _ _ (2nd letter)
8. A plant oil extract used for repelling mosquitoes
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (8th letter)

OK, now put all the indicated letters together (in order, for example, the answer to question number 1 is the 1st letter) _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. This is the name of a street in West Houston. You will need it to find the correct parking lot to start your hunt!

CLUES: The box is located in Terry Hershey Park in West Houston. From I-10 take the Beltway FEEDER south, and locate the Terry Hershey parking lot located on the feeder just south of _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (your mystery word from above!) If you are southbound on the feeder, the lot will be on your right, marked by a sign. To find the box, park in this lot. Enter the trail passing between the 2 handicapped parking spaces. Follow the asphalt trail under the bridge. You will pass a trail map on your right. At the first intersection follow the trail to the right, passing through the white rails on either side. Soon you will pass a blue sign with the trail rules on your right, then another white railing on your left. After the white rail continue on the path, and very soon you will come to an enormous cement cube on the left hand side (it stands about 5 feet tall, you can't miss it) I have no idea what this chunk of cement used to be, but it is an unmistakeable landmark! Just off the trail behind the cube you will see a double trunked tree 5 steps from the edge of the cube farthest from the trail. The box is hidden between the trunks, covered with sticks and leaves. Be sneaky, as this trail is sometimes full of people, and sometimes deserted. PLEASE rehide well, missmoon did a fantastic job on her stamp, and I would hate for it to go missing. Please e mail and let me know what you find. And if you get any mosquito bites, DON'T SCRATCH!
