Ok, more like Jones Springs than Martinsburg. I wanted to put this box in Egypt, West Virginia but there was no place to hide on this short road. Instead I stuck it near Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area. There are several trails, camping and even a shooting range. There is about 9 miles of dirt/gravel road round trip to get this box. I was going to tack on a long hike, but decided the drive was enough.
I81, exit 13 west, 15 becomes 18 up mountain, right at T-18, (right on 7, left on Sleepy Creek Rd.-825 for a slightly shorter dirt road drive), or straight 7/13, after first big bend on mountain a right on 826 = unmarked dirt road, left on 825.
For a shorter drive and off road adventure (4x4 only), another way would be 18, right on 18/1, left on 7/8, left on 7, right on 825. I took the short way home (backwards from description above); fun, steep and bumpy.
From 825- Left towards upper compground. Shortly after you will see signs for the boat launch and upper campground on your right, and a sign for Myer's Spring on your left. Take Myer's Spring trail for a very short walk. After the bridge and before the benches are some rocks on the right. In front of the smaller large rock on the right, under a pile of rocks you will find B.F.E.
