Delaware Canal State Park
Durham, Bucks County PA.
Planted August 19th 2001
Sept. 30th 2004
Update
Due to the recent flooding along the Deleware River I have pulled this box.The tow path is closed in that area due to the damage caused by high water. The box will be re-planted in the near future and in a spot close to it's previous location.
Directions: Starting point at the junction of Rt. 212 and Rt. 611
LOCK NO. 21
At the place of "3" bridges head up river
Past the back of the "take out" sign and
Before the 4th bridge, at the "gum ball" trees
Bare right towards the river
Go back down stream
Past the cast off concrete on the right
Down the dip and under the "left" tree
Three paces
Then follow the direction of the "right" tree
Which points the way...
Ten paces
Careful!
Do what you came to do,
Continue down river past the rope swing
Up the roots and back to the canal path.
This is where you can continue on
and stamp into LOCK>ROCK...
