This box is a joint venture between me and a dear friend, Just Joan. I carved the stamp and made the box, while Joan and her husband planted the box and wrote the clues.

From Casino Drive in Laughlin NV, go West 6 miles on Route 163 to Christmas Tree Pass

Turn north on to Christmas Tree Pass road (dirt road)

The road’s a wash board you may think, look ahead the boulders on the hill look pink.

Go slow and creep for the scenery is neat, unload your gun for a drive in the sun. Go 2 miles up Christmas Tree Pass Road to the Grapevine Canyon Parking Area.

After you park, take a walk, and follow the trail up to the rocks. Keep the dry creek bed on your right, now remember to look down for there are critters on the ground.

Follow along the wash on your right, imagine the Indian camping overnight.

At trails end, stop and look at the pictures on high rocks. Across the wash the capitol letter “I” will be half way up, a little high, on a rock slid off due to Mother Time.

Stand beside the rock with the letter “I” on it, and in the distant view over your right shoulder your car you will see.

Go away from water and rock ,11 paces, straight away, then left 9 paces more behind the big block rock with the only green growth on any rock, you will find me.
