This box was planted by The Cat's Meow and Kinzua Warrior on a visit to the area in October 2005. I'd like to thank Kinzua Warrior for introducing me to the beautiful sights in this area of PA. I've enjoyed every visit.

Directions. Box is hidden at Big Bend Access Area located on Rt. 59. From Big Bend Access Area you will be able to get an amazing view of the dam from down stream. You can tour the visitors center located there and learn information about the construction and use of the dam and information about local wildlife and fish. And finally you can take a very enjoyable walk on the Little Boulder Nature Trail. This is about a 1/2 mile trail that starts at one end of the parking lot, and comes out at the opposite end.

Clues: Look for the sign that says Little Boulder Nature Trail. Enter the trail from there and walk the trail until you come to the post that is numbered 4. Stop at number 4 post and note that the trail continues between two rocks. Walk to the two rocks and stop again. Look to your right. Do you see the large tree that apears to be growing out of stone? Walk to it. At the base of the rock to the left you will find the box hidden under the large boulder behind some rocks.

Please re-hide the box carefully when finished.

*** Now that you've found Kinzua Dam, go find Kinzua Bear located at Chapman State Park, just a few miles away!!!!

As always, happy hunting!!!!
