The letter box is located in Pinewoods Park in the City of North Tonawanda. Enter the park at the Pinewoods Drive car entrance. On the right, there is a small pavilion. Behind the pavilion is a path into the woods. Immediately upon entering the woods, there is a Y. Go to the left. Stay on the main trail, bearing to right. You will come to a tree fallen across the path. To the right of the tree is a decaying stump and to the right of that is a pile of wood. The letterbox is under the pile of wood. CAREFUL, the wood is decaying. Please recover the box to preserve it and remember to send us a postcard ( they are provided in the box).
North Tonawanda is the former lumber capital of the world and was the home of the Wurlitzer Co.; Remington Rand, and several steel mills.
