Chico-"I would like west even better if it was in the east."
Zeppo- "What's that suupposed to mean?"
Chico- "If you can't figure it out I'm not gonna be the one to figure it out for you."
Zeppo- "If you haven't got it figured out then how can I?"
Chico - "Listen, don't try and trick me. I'm not gonna tell ya the letterbox is on the east side of Redmond and I'm definitely not gonna tell you its near the railroad tracks. And I'll never tell you that you need to start your search where only the very young can drop a line."
Groucho- "Would you two shut up? I have a good mind to go out and join a club and beat you over the head with it."
Clues:
Gummo- "I think they should start where the sidewalk cuts through the grass and head north."
Zeppo- "Yeah, have them walk until they see the red sentries, remember? Should we tell them how many to look for?"
Groucho- "Why don't we have them pick a number between one and ten?"
Chico- "Eleven!"
Groucho- "Right! You baboon. I'm sorry, I take that back - it's an insult to baboons everywhere. The number is two. Look for two red sentries guarding #642. Head east, around the water."
Harpo- (shrugs and puts his hands up 'then what?')
Groucho -- "Then they follow the green carpet past the four stunted apple trees."
Chico- "Maybe we should tell them to look for cherry trees."
Gummo-"Yeah, that's a good idea."
Groucho- "There are no cherry trees. I think there are two too many men giving clues here, and you two are them."
Zeppo- "Let's just tell them to take a sharp right at the headgate before it's too late."
Gummo- "Don't forget to mention the suspiciously smelly mandates notice they should look for."
Chico-"Yes, they need to turn right again there."
Zeppo- "Are you sure?"
Chico- "Who you gonna believe; me or your own eyes? They need to keep the water on their right shoulder all da time."
Groucho- "You guys are having too much fun. If any form of pleasure is exhibited; tell me and it will be prohibited."
Harpo-(pantomimes walking 80 paces, walking around the back of the pump house).
Groucho-"That's right Harpo. They need to enter the cluster of willows at the rear of the pump house and look for the small dock. A bowling ball-size rock leaning on the flat boulder hides the box."
Chico- "Why, that's so simple a four-year-old child could figure it out. Run out and get me a four-year-old; I can't make heads or tails of it."
Harpo- (mimes reaching under a rock and getting bit by a snake, dying a slow, painful death.)
Groucho-"You're right Harpo. They should always be wary of snakes -- oh, and nesting birds too."
