Take Exit 38 Bath off of I86 Expressway. Stop at light and turn right. Go past the Dormann Library, turn right onto County Route 10. Go 1.5 miles and turn left onto Windfall road. You will see a sign for Mossy Bank Park before you turn left. Go 1.5 miles and turn left again into the Park. 1.3 more miles and you will offically enter. The entrance is between two boulders. Drive on the circular driveway and park by the bathrooms. The park is open May 1st through October 16th but doesn't discourage winter visitors from visiting. Enjoy.

Update 5/2015: Thanks to Zen Hunter for reviving/saving this box!

* In May 2007 the Mossy Bank Nature Center was renamed as the Ted Markham Nature Center, so when you find this letterbox know that it is offically a piece of history.
The Mossy Bank Letter Box Clues

Challenging Clues: For experienced letter-boxers

Start from the slab,
'Cross from the lavs. (Note: In 2013 the restroom area went under construction-please begin at the far end of the playground area!).
Travel cross-field due north,
Where trees to path give forth.
Seek the path that's to your right,
Continue on the path in sight.
Take the next left at the T,
Then the 'right' path you will see.
Meander past the Y-shaped tree,
To the right you want to be.
Through the living arbor door,
Continue on your way once more.
Once you pass the living arch,
Forward once again you'll march.
At the Y, you'll make a right,
Then the prize will be in sight.
Go seven paces straight,
No longer must you wait.
Seek the tree and stump behind,
And the letterbox you'll find.

*Note: The letterbox is off the trail a little bit and on the right side. The placers take no claim on our bad poetry.

Easy Clues:
Start by standing in front of the entrance to the bathrooms. If you walk forward, you should see a mowed "meadow". There is a concrete slab in front of the meadow. At the right of the mowed lot, near the bottom corner there is a small trail. Proceed across the meadow and enter, following the beaten path, which veers left. When you get to the T, turn left. Eventually you will come to a Y road and you should turn right. Now you should be following a trail that goes down the path leading at the bottom to another Y. Go right heading up the trail, technically facing east. Look up for an arching tree, continuing straight for awhile until you get to a dominant Y path that leads up a pronounced hill. Chose the right fork and continue slowly, noticing the little hill on the right side. Before you round the corner, there is a Pine tree with a dead stump behind it.Under a vast collection of bark and rocks lies the letterbox.

* Note- On your way back consider taking the lower trail on the left of the Y and moseying past the overlook. Take the path that goes right past the overlook and up the hill. Advance on to the circular trail taking a left will lead you to your car however a right will lead you to the official overlook and then to your car.
