If these clues seem too vague let me know and I'll give you some hints. 1st: There is some word play going on here!
Yes, we came up with what seems to be another game name!
Remember this one - I was never very good at it so I'm not going to inflict trying it on anyone!
I couldn't wait to put this box together for several reasons:
1st I could introduce you to some of the best food (great food is right up there with Letterboxing for me) and service in town that you probably don't know about yet!
2nd Maybe we could even meet for an exchange!
3rd The rainy season is coming and this is an indoor box!
Clues:
Find the best Guacamole on Hwy 10 between Bertha and Oleson!
This great little place opened around 12 years ago when I used to live right near it.
I guess I have to explain that I have another addiction besides Letterboxing. In fact, it's been about a 25 year addiction - geez I'm making myself feel and sound old! More about this in another LB Clue coming soon to a city near you!
Anyway, my friends and I get so into this other thing that we are wound up and haven't had time to socialize so we go out for a soda or snack afterward and this is our favorite spot!
We were first hooked by their tangy Buffalo Wings and with how great they treated us!
Outstanding customer service and flexibility (you can substitute salad instead of fries, etc).
And then...well....unbelievable Freshly Made Guacamole!! They bring it when they see us coming :-)
We have had so many people who didn't even care for avocado or guacamole get hooked!
If you can, try to go for a meal! (Or in my case the servings are so big I always have left overs - so 2 meals!)
I'm not usually too excitable, but I have to Rave about the food here and the Happy Hour Menu (M-Sat. 9pm-2am) is amazing!
They have a variety so you could have an awesome Club Sandwich or fantastic BBQ Ribs (Monkey Boy and Special Ed's favorite) or Lahaina Ribs or if you like spicy (like I do) try the Spicy Louisiana Chicken Burrito (LadyB's favorite)!!
And...if you like dessert.... the Deep Fried Ice Cream is sooo yummy with raspberry and chocolate drizzled over it! MMmmmm! Everyone's favorite ;-)
Discovered they have great Breakfast on the weekend too.
By the way, this LB is kid friendly. In fact, this little place has a neat enclosed patio that caters to the kids. Monkey Boy (7 yr. old) loves the Nintendo, Xbox and other multi game controller (Ms. Pac Man, etc - some of the big/old kids enjoy this too)! For the younger ones there's a little train table, kids menu, etc. For the really big kids there is a really big screen and in the other room is Kariyoki! (W-Sat. 9pm-2am)
If you're a night owl like me we could exchange on most Thursday evenings around 11 pm or Sun. from around 10 pm. Just email me to coordinate so I'm sure to have my stamp and pad but feel free to drop by any time (M-F 11am-2-am, Sat. & Sun. 9am-2am).
Dang, they took out the Old School Game so I haven't a very good clue anymore. Here's the revision: Look for the wall with a mural then proceed into a place that it looks like you shouldn't :-) It's in the left corner in a little box against the mural.
