This series is on the Radnor Trail just off of Conestoga Rd. in Wayne. It is a series of 6 boxes. The last box contains the log. The other "boxes" are in plastic bags and then in burlap so look carefuly for them. Some of the stamps are quite large, over 4 inches. Some of the mile markers will be faceing away from you as you pass them so keep an eye out. All the boxes are named for dogs you might see on the trail. The hike is on flat ground suitable for strollers or wheelchairs the whole series is a 2 mile round trip.
Please, please, rehide well! Boxes should not be visible from trail. Please cover boxes well with debris. Last box should go all the way under rock, don't leave a little tail visble for non-boxers to find.
Starting at the parking area turn right onto the trail.
Box#1 Baxter- labradoodle Directly across from the 1 6/10 mile marker is a large tree on the left side of the trail. The stamp is behind the tree under 2 rocks.
Box#2 Gizmo- king charles spaniel Across from the 1 1/4 mile marker is a bench. Behind the bench is a row of boulders. Standing at the left end of the bench facing the boulders locate 3 boulders. There will be a small one in front of one with a flat top and a larger one to the right that comes to a point by the small one. Stamp is in triangle formed between boulders.
Box#3 Ritchie- Welsh corgi Off trail on Brooke Rd, ramp. Locate 4 concrete pylons. Just a few steps from theses pylons is another pylon with rusted iron on the top. Box is at base of this pylon on the side nearest the trail.
Box#4 Brogan-- black lab Half way between 1 1/10 and 1 mile marker is a stay on the trail marker. A few steps off the trail from the sign is a small boulder or large rock, stamp is under rock.
Box#5 Travis- great dane Locate 8/10 of a mile marker. Box is one meter to NE of sign(this clue is courtesey of my husband, the boy scout) under a under a very flat rock.
Box# 6 - log book From the Travis box continue down the trail keeping an eye out for a set of stone steps on your right. From the steps go 21 steps to 2nd large boulder on your right. if you sit on the boulder and reach behind you with your left hand you willl find the box. This is a heavily traveled trail, I have tried to place the boxes so you can sit and rest or tie your shoe to retrive the stamp.
