Uneksia (the keeper of my NH boxes) has this box and will be replanting it at another stone arch bridge in the area.

Placed August 22, 2005 by Britt, Em and rtrw

Time – two minutes 18 seconds...if you dawdle
Distance – From here to there
Difficulty – pretty easy, and not that well hidden

Information you need to know - Located on the south side of Route 9, in a roadside rest area about .1 miles west of the Antrim-Stoddard town line. This was formerly the Rumford Letterbox in Rumford, Maine and the carving was done by a local NH artist.

Information you don’t need to know - So, we are heading to NH for a youth group trip and I have the box in the back of the giant blue van, ready to go back out into the world. I pass the stone arch bridge and decide to let the girls see some of my New Hampshire, so we played in the brook for a while and planted the box and Britt left a special deposit all her own. The girls hid the box and we all had a good time.

Clues –
From the parking area, walk as if you were going to cross the bridge. Go down the “staircase” next to the big tree. Follow the path to the benchmark. Turn right toward the river. The box is in the bridge near the giant rock that is part of the bridge. It would be very easy to find this box if it were not recovered well. Please help us out with that.
Thanks and enjoy our box.
