This letter box is located at the Michigan Welcome Center, about 2 miles south of downtown Marquette on U.S. 41. From the parking lot turn toward the welcome center building, and you will see a paved walkway to your right, leading toward Lake Superior. Walk toward the lake on this walkway, past a picnic table to your right. Past the picnic table, you will run into an unpaved path that runs parallel to the Lake Superior. Turn right on this path until it splits. Go straight at the splitm past a picnic table on your left and continue past a picnic table on your right. Look for a large fallen tree on your left near a chain link fence ahead that blocks your path. Walk toward the large fallen tree and look around it for the letterbox.
