4 mile hike, 100' elevation gain, trail mainly flat until the end, beautiful view of the Sawtooths, continue on the trail if you like to make the trek 6.5 miles roundtrip to Bridal Veil Falls. We heard the last .5 mile of that hike is straight up. We'll have to return one day to find out for ourselves. =-) If you reach a creek to cross, you've gone too far for this letterbox.
CLUES:
Stanley Lake, Inlet Campground Trailhead, about 2 miles on trail, crest of first hill, left on trail to Lady Face Falls, cross rising rock wall (rises to the right side of the trail), across the trail on the left under the first rock.
Enjoy. My husband says my little tent is a bear's purple gum drop.....thus the name of the box. =-)
