This is box number 2 in a 7-part series. This is the 1st series placed through the collaborative efforts of the WIZARDS OF OZ. Who are the Wizards? Craftymouse, Dandelion, WINK and Tarheel; all of us from Oswego!

The stamp is Carved by CRAFTYMOUSE, and AWESOME. It is well worth the trip.

Ink is included in these boxes, but you should bring your own pen. And bug spray! LOTS of bug spray!

Clues
This letterbox is located in Sunset Bay Park in the Town of Scriba. It is located along the southern shore of Lake Ontario. If you are going to "Mapquest" this, use "County Route 29 and (East)Lake Road" as your END POINT.

Using Interstate 81- Get off at the Mexico NY (Route 104) exit, and head WEST. 7.2 miles west of Mexico NY, is County Route 29 North. Take a Right onto CR 29.....
Using State Route 104 from Oswego area & west (Including Interstate 481)- Travel EAST on SR 104 4.4 miles from the City of Oswego line (4.3 from the blinking light) to County Route 29 North. Take a Left onto CR 29......

....once on CR 29, travel 3.1 miles to the very end. It will come to a "T" with Lake Road. You MUST turn RIGHT (If you go left, you will be stopped at the entrance to the NUKE plants). Travel one tenth of a mile on Lake Road, and turn left into Sunset Bay Park. PARK CLOSES AT 8 PM. Travel 3 tenths of a mile into the park to a gravel parking area. You will pass a children's play area, lined-up orderly trees, and a fitness center, all on your left, along the way to the lot. Park in the gravel parking area. With the small house behind you, face the stockade fences across the parking lot in which you just parked. Cross the road by the larger of the two sets of fence. On the other side of the road is a bridge. Go over the bridge and under the slanted tree. Continue on the path until you arrive at the “T”. Take a left (as of the Spring replanting 3/28, the Right passage was blocked by Winter Blow-Down). The stone wall will be on your left as you begin to walk towards the lake. You’ll pass a VERY, VERY large, two trunked tree, and the stone fence keeps you company, off and on, until you reach a clearing just before the lake. At this clearing, you will notice a tri-trunked, White Birch, tree 15 to 20 yds on your right (if you are looking at the lake). Go to it. Just beyond the tri-trunked tree is an old stone fire circle with cover-brush all around it. Among these stones, is what you seek.
