This is box number 6 in a 7-part series. This is the 1st series placed through the collaborative efforts of the WIZRDS OF OZ. Who are the Wizards? Craftymouse, Dandelion, WINK and Tarheel; all of us from Oswego!

Ink is included in these boxes, but you should bring your own pen. And bug spray! LOTS of bug spray!

This one really couldn’t be any easier!

This box is located at Rice Creek Field Station in the town of Oswego. Directions and information can be found here:

CLUES:
You’ll need to be pretty sneaky to not be seen for this one. The spot is a little open, but we just couldn’t resist the location!

If the orange entrance gate is closed, pull into the gravel parking area and park. You’ll have to walk in, following the road down to the building. If the orange entrance gate is open, congratulate yourself for being lucky! Drive down the entrance road and park in the parking lot at the building. You’ll see an herb garden. Look for the Blue False Indigo. Once you’ve found it, go around OUTSIDE the garden to the corner with the Indigo. In the rock retaining wall of the garden, right at the corner is a small flat rock. Lift it up to find your real “Indigo”. You only need to move that one smaller rock, not any of the larger ones. PLEASE rehide this extremely well, taking care that it’s not visible from any angle. Before you leave, take one last look around to make sure that you’ve left the garden and the rock retaining wall in as good a condition as when you found it. The staff here are quick to straighten up, and if they see the retaining wall needs attention, they may discover the box.
