This box is located in Corbett's Glen park at the eastern edge of the town of Brighton. Limited roadside parking is available on Glen Rd. off rt. 441 just northeast of 490.
Walk down Glen Rd. through the arched stone railroad overpass next to the creek. Turn right toward the signs welcoming you to the park. There's a deck overlooking the creek with a bench on it. Take the small trail leading under this deck. The box is a retired 30 cal. ammo can hidden on the back support beam under the deck.
Caution-this area is quite well-travelled. Please be extra
careful not to be seen while retrieving or replacing the box. There's a bench and a picnic table nearby to use while you log-in, etc. Inside there's a hand-carved rubber stamp, a log book
and some small 'trinkets' for trade. If you take something
please leave something in return and record the specifics of your trade in the log book. You'll need a pen as I forgot to put one in. Please put everything back the way you found it and contact us at this site when you get a
chance. Thanks!
Enjoy this park. There are many nice spots along the creek
and a lot of trails to hike around off to the left as well.
Happy hunting; TEAM Wood
