THIS LETTERBOX IS NOT ON NATIONAL PARK LAND, SO PLEASE DON'T CONFISCATE

Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose is about a big, lovable character akin to Horton. Both are large, kindly guys who are in touch with their nurturing sides, and each suffers for his generosity and steadfastness. However, this microbox Thidwick is far from suffering since he resides near the beautiful Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. The reservoir provides varied recreational activities such as power boating, water skiing, camping, parasailing, rafting, swimming and fishing from boats or shore. There is also ample hiking opportunities, such as the Bear Canyon Trail, where this microbox is located. So come find probably the only moose in this beautiful area.

Directions:
From Vernal, drive north on Hwy 191 for about 35 miles to a jct with Hwy 44 in Flaming Gorge NRA. Continue right on Hwy 191 to the Bear Canyon Trail pullout on the left, about 3 miles before the dam. It is across from the Firefighters Memorial Campground.

Clues:
Go about 100 yards down the trail to a post where the trail turns left. Continue straight off the trail for about 7 steps from the post, then turn right and go 7 more steps through some small trees to a large rock surrounded by several smaller rocks. Just before and near right side of the large rock is a 1 foot long rock half buried with a crevice on its far side. Camo microbox is within the crevice under a small, flat rock. Please re-cover well.
