This box is no longer in place. The establishment closed, and will likely not reopen. Thanks for all the finds!

-------------------------------

Quietly making its way across the country is a fun little concoction known as "Bubble Tea." This Japanese drink is a sort of a milkshake/smoothie, with your choice of flavors, and optional tapioca pearls, or "bubbles." Though it might take some getting-used-to, Bubble Tea can quickly become a favorite treat. While you are not required, you are still encouraged to try it while you are stamping in to this letterbox honoring Bubble Tea. Any number of flavors are good, but Taro has to be the best! (Taro is a root, and the Bubble Tea tastes a little like a mild chocolate/blackberry mix.) Don't be scared of the bubbles! Plenty of people didn't like tapioca before they tried Bubble Tea, either, and now they love it!

Much of the search for this letterbox is driving, but there is a tiny bit of walking required, and plenty more optional walking!

Start out on Hwy 512 in Puyallup. Take the Meridian St. exit. Go the direction of Glinda (as told by the movie, not the book!) until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right and travel past the Home of the Tyees. Take a left before the Tinman, and the next left again onto a familiar road. Find a parking space and inquire of 105A. A little further south is a lovely area to drink your Bubble Tea while you wander through the grass and trees...enjoy!
