1) The town where this series resides is the second to last town in Norfolk County to be incorporated.
2) The woods shares the same name with a large city north of Boston in Middlesex County. (Hint: This 12th letter of the alphabet is a baritone.)
3) Best entry for this woodsy conservation area can be found behind a school on this HAPPY named street which has a small parking area.

Your adventure will begin at the map/information board. Follow the trail into the woods. The trail you are on will end and you will turn left onto the Purgatory Path Trail. Follow this trail until you reach the bridge. The letterbox is nearby. After crossing the bridge take approx ten paces and on your left you should see a branch lined path leading into the woods. Walk until you see the blue blaze on the tree. From this point turn right and walk 30 paces into the wooded area. Look for the two oak trees growing out of the same stump. Behind these trees at the base you will find the Sundown River Letterbox hidden under leaves and rocks. Please replant letterbox well so as not be discovered accidentally but so that it can be found again by another letterboxer!
Go back to the main path after the bridge and continue on your journey.
Continue on Purgatory Path Trail for a while. You will notice that it will begin to get a little noisy here! In the distance before you can actually see the source of this noise look for another branch lined path leading up into the woods on your left hand side. (When I was there and placed the box there was a fallen tree blocking the trail. If that is still there that would be a landmark for finding the branch lined path). Take the branch lined path up the hill. The path will take you around the left of a large rock cluster. Continue up and around until you get to the summit! The summit is marked by a clearing and the tops of large boulders on your right. From the beginning of the clearing take 4-5 paces on the path. You should be standing on some embedded rocks. At this spot look to your left and look for a medium size tree growing out from a rock cluster. Walk to the tree. Put your back to the tree and face the trail. You should see a large rock in front of you with a large crevice on the bottom and left. The Starlight Mix Letterbox is hidden here covered with leaves and a log. Please replant letterbox well so as not be discovered accidentally but so that it can be found again by another letterboxer!
Your adventure is almost over. Return back to the Purgatory Path Trail and head back to the parking area. After the Purgatory Path Trail ends you will find yourself on Dead Swamp Road again. Follow Dead Swamp Road for a while. During your walk back you should notice the stone walls that run parallel the path. Be on the lookout for the stone wall that is intersected by the path you are on. This is near where the last letterbox is located. At this location look to the stone wall that is on the left of the path. On the northside of this wall there are three clusters of trees that are close to the wall. Walk to the third cluster. Hidden in the base of the wall and covered in leaves is the Nighttime Sky Letterbox. Please replant letterbox well so as not be discovered accidentally but so that it can be found again by another letterboxer!
