This box has been pulled and retired for the 2005 faire season.. watch for it in 2006!

This is a seasonal letterbox.. you will only be able to visit it during the dates of operation of the faire each year. For more information visit:

Once you are there, park your fine steed in the steed parking area and proceed on foot to the very tall wooden fence that stretches out southwest from the front gate. If you are facing the front gate, you will turn to the right. Walk along the fence until it ends .. it will turn the corner and become a brown picket/wire fence that stretches off into the wilderness. Don't follow that fence! No! Stand at the corner of the giant planked fence and the brown picket/wire fence.. face northeast (back towards the front gate).. take 25 paces until you stand at a red pipe standing about 2 1/2 feet high. Stand at the pipe and take a compass bearing of 180 degrees which, if my compass skills are correct, will point you right at one of the large fence planks that is split at the bottom and has a wee tiny pine bravely growing at it's base. Sit on the SW side of the split plank, reach through the split and behind the large fence post behind it and ...Huzzah! Huzzah!

PLEASE BE DISCREET!! This is just a few feet off of a very busy path! You will find that you can sit in the dirt and pretend to talk on your cell phone and most people will ignore you. I had to tell a few people that we were waiting for someone which also satisfied their curiosity. But hold off on the reaching through the fence part until you are not in view of merry revelers!

REHIDE CAREFULLY! Then go inside and enjoy one of the finest renaissance faires in the country! Huzzah!
