UPDATE: Just checked this one in Sept2011 and it is still there waiting for you:)
Unscramble the letters(2 words) below to discover the location of this letterbox and a great place to look for Petoskey stones. You might need to know some local historical facts.
RILSNM NDOAAI
*Hint - This wooded place was a gift from a father to his daughter. You will need your sea legs for this adventure. Once you have found the place, follow the clues below.
1. The trail starts where Old Glory flies.
2. Proceed in a Northerly direction along the path until you stand at a place where you can quench your thirst.
3. From this point head south along the boardwalk. Off to your right notice "pole 1".
4. Keep this pole to your right and proceed down the trail.
5. Go past "pole 3" and before you reach the "E point", notice a huge maple to the right of the path.
6. With your back to the maple take 16 paces to a large beech.
7. Turn slightly to your right and take another 16 paces to a leaning maple.
8. Find the Box!
* This is a seasonal letterbox and not recommended for the winter. Have fun and be sure to bring an ink pad and bug spray.
