(Originally planted by CreativeCat and kindly adopted by Craig and Karen)
Directions:
From Hwy 129 & Rte 747 intersection - go south on 747 1/2 mile. Go East on Hamilton-Mason Road for 1 1/2 miles. Go North on LeSourdesville-West Chester Road. 1/2 mile on right, park in parking lot for Wetlands Park
*Updated October 5, 2008*
Clues:
Travel on path to the east. Go to the second pond. At the Front of this second pond, there is a path to your right. Take it. Cross over a bridge. Pass a large Red Ash tree. Stay straight. (Don't take the path that leads to the opening in the fence.)
At the second metal culvert (this one is large), there is a tree on your right in the shape of a V. (The first culvert is small and easy to miss. If you've found a large culvert, you're at the right place.) Look for a fallen tree trunk in the woods about 10 paces. There should be a pile of stones in the end of the rotten log. The box is behind the rocks. (Please be sure to replace the rocks around the box.)
For a nice hike back, continue along this path. It circles back to the pond.
This is a homemade stamp.
